As a dynamic and forward-thinking Business Management major with a keen emphasis on Marketing at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, I, Will Slunecka, am at the precipice of launching into a promising professional career upon my anticipated graduation in December 2024. My academic journey has been meticulously aligned with my career ambitions, focusing on harnessing a deep understanding of marketing principles, customer engagement strategies, digital media innovation, and the transformative power of artificial intelligence in business. A pivotal experience in this journey was an experimental class conducted one-on-one with Jeffrey Stamp, where I explored the strategic integration of AI for business innovation, gaining a nuanced understanding of how AI can enhance customer experiences, optimize operational efficiencies, and drive strategic decision-making. ​Throughout my time in university and through various professional experiences, I have cultivated a diverse skill set that spans across social media strategy, digital content creation, customer relationship management, and AI-driven marketing solutions, distinguishing myself as a versatile and effective marketer. My professional experiences have been both broad and deeply impactful, offering me a unique perspective on the marketing landscape. From managing social media and website coordination for Mystic Prairie Pheasant Hunts to leading digital marketing initiatives at CrystalEyes Lures and Silverback Pro, I've not only contributed to but also shaped the online presence and brand identity of these organizations. My role as a Digital Media Manager at Worthington Tax Services further underscored my capability to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies, leveraging AI insights to drive meaningful engagement and foster an environment of continuous growth and innovation. ​In my tenure with Greystar Management and through a notable internship with Habitat for Humanity, I honed my interpersonal skills, emphasizing customer service excellence and the importance of building and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships. These experiences have been instrumental in developing my adeptness at navigating complex business environments, always with a focus on achieving superior outcomes. ​Outside of my professional and academic pursuits, I am deeply passionate about graphic and video design, cooking, basketball, fitness, and exploring the Twin Cities' restaurant scene. These hobbies not only serve as a means of personal expression and enjoyment but also enrich my creative and strategic thinking abilities, essential for a career in marketing. ​Looking ahead, I am fueled by the aspiration to one day helm my own marketing firm and own a family restaurant, leveraging my accumulated knowledge, experiences, and the innovative potential of AI to create impactful marketing solutions.
